Clara assists and advises clients in a wide range of industries and at various stages of their life cycles with their commercial, technology and intellectual property strategy and transactions. She has experience drafting commercial, intellectual property and technology agreements and advising on commercial and intellectual property aspects of various corporate transactions, including buy and sell-side M&A transactions, intellectual property licensing, technology development and seed and venture financings. Prior to joining Paradigm Counsel, Clara practiced as a technology transactions associate at Cooley, a global law firm based in Silicon Valley that specializes in representing technology companies. Prior to that, Clara lived in Atlanta and worked as an environmental engineer, traveling through the Southeast to install and operate groundwater remediation systems.
Clara earned her B.S. in Environmental Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, her M.S. in Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, and her J.D. degree at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in California.
In her spare time, Clara enjoys kayaking around northern California (with a special affinity for otter spotting), scuba diving in warmer waters, and embarking on solo and group travel adventures.
