David Fligor is a seasoned technology transactions attorney with over 20 years of experience advising startups and emerging growth companies on go-to-market legal strategy, complex commercial agreements, and intellectual property matters.
At Paradigm Counsel, David partners with founders and executive teams to ensure contract velocity without compromising risk management. His deep experience in contract drafting, intellectual property strategy, and dispute resolution allows startups to confidently engage with enterprise customers, vendors, and channel partners while avoiding terms that could hinder future success. David also routinely acts as fractional GC or fractional IP counsel for clients.
Before returning to Paradigm Counsel, David served as General Counsel & Secretary at Ditto, where he led the legal function, successfully closing numerous customer and partner agreements. Previously, he held senior legal and business leadership roles at TiVo and Kudelski Group, where he structured high-value transactions, managed patent litigation, and advised on strategic licensing deals.
Earlier in his career, David was an associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he worked on technology transactions, IP strategy, and corporate matters. He has also served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Santa Clara University School of Law, teaching technology licensing and negotiation strategies.
David holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. He is a registered patent attorney with the USPTO and is admitted to practice law in California.
David plays basketball multiple times each week, reads voraciously, and continues to work on his cooking skills.
